How Mail Gazelle collects and uses personal data to send transactional email.
Who we are
Mail Gazelle is a transactional email API at mailgazelle.com. Customers verify a sending domain and send one-to-one mail that a recipient requested in the customer's application: account verification, password reset, receipts, and product notifications. Public signup is a waitlist. Privacy requests: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, hashed password, and optional passkeys or two-factor credentials.
- Waitlist emails when you ask to be invited.
- Workspace data: team and product names, sending domains, DNS verification status, API token hashes (the raw token is shown once).
- Message logs: recipient address, From / Reply-To, subject, status, delivery events, tags, and attachments stored to send the mail. We do not sell mailing lists.
- Suppressions: addresses that bounced or complained, so we do not mail them again.
Why we process it
We process this data to operate the service: create accounts, send transactional mail you asked us to send, show delivery in the dashboard, and stop mail to suppressed addresses. The lawful basis is performing that service and our legitimate interest in protecting sending reputation.
Subprocessors
Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) in eu-central-1 (Frankfurt)
delivers the mail. AWS is a subprocessor, not the sender.
Cookies and similar storage
- A session cookie to keep you signed in.
- An
appearancecookie for light / dark / system preference. It is not used for advertising. - On the production site, ClickPulse collects usage events so we can see whether pages load. There is no advertising pixel.
Retention
We keep accounts, message logs, events, attachments, and suppressions while they are needed to operate the service (delivery, debugging, and bounce handling). We have not yet scheduled an automatic prune of old messages. When that job exists, this page will state the period.
Your rights
You may ask for access to or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We do not offer a self-serve export archive. We do not sell personal data.
